Chair Yoga

Chair yoga brings all of the benefits of yoga without having to get up and down off the mat. Ideal for you if you are recovering from an injury, have limited mobility and want to build or maintain mobility levels and flexibility whilst also working on building some balance skills. Our chair yoga is a small, friendly group, with a mix of ages from 50s through to late 70s. What are you waiting for? Come along and give it a try!

Yoga is not just for women!

Most people associate yoga with women clad in gym clothes holding positions that make them wince at the idea of trying to contort into that shape. I'm here to tell you don't have to do that to be doing yoga and yoga is most definitely not just for women. In fact for most of its history it has been practised by men and most of the styles we know today were created by men. Nowadays so many men forego the benefits of yoga in favour of the gym and whilst building strength at the gym is important (yes, for women too!) the benefits that come from breathwork and meditation are equally as beneficial for men. In a world where chronic disease and stress is on the increase, do yourself a favour and come long, join a class and see for yourself.
